Africa ELTA, Cairo 2024

From 30 May to 1 June 2024, the group of TELTA members made their way to Cairo, Egypt for the Africa ELTA conference presentation. 6 leaders participated in a one-day leadership training and two days of conference to strengthen teacher associations. This Africa ELTA 8th International Conference was in collaboration with the University of Hertfordshire, Egypt. The theme of the conference was Transforming Minds, Transforming Lives in ELT. The conference was organized to highlight Africa ELTA’s vision in supporting classroom teachers to create context-appropriate materials with a training focus on ELT materials development in the African context.

 

All these teachers presented at this esteemed African English Language Teachers conference. This gathering represented a milestone for TELTA, solidifying its mission to foster growth and camaraderie among English language teachers
