PRELIM, or The Partnered Remote Language Improvement Project, aimed to enhance teachers’ fluency and confidence in English language teaching settings. Supported by the British Council and conducted in partnership with IATEFL, English UK, and managed by NILE, the program benefitted 80 teachers across Tanzania. TELTA successfully implemented this project, contributing significantly to English language teachers’ professional development in the country, with facilitation from the Centre of English Studies (CES) in the UK.
